Credits and copyright

Credit where credit is due

We will never intentionally use any image, video, audio, text or other creative work (or part thereof) that we do not have the right – one way or another – to use.

Any images, video, audio, text or other work (or part thereof) not created by Digiplanet.co, and which are not released in the public domain, will normally be attributed directly on the page where it was used.

However, there are some cases where such attribution is either not practical, reasonable or even possible. In those cases, we will include a description of the work used and the appropriate attribution on this page.

We believe strongly in the rights of authors, artists, creatives, companies and others to have their works protected, licensed and used as per their wishes and according to relevant legislation. If we have accidentally included any work or derivative of a work that we do not have a license to use:

  1. Please accept our unreserved apology.
  2. Let us know via the contact page – including a description of which work you’re referring to – so that we can remove it or credit it appropriately as quickly as possible.

That being said, the following works – which we do not own – have been used on our site:

List of credits

  • Digiplanet logo – the spacey graphics used in our logo were made by Pencil Parker. They’re public domain images, but we think they’re awesome, so credit where credit is due. We sourced the graphics from Pixabay on 23 April 2020, where they are available as works in the public domain.
  • Inter font – the font used across most of koalaplanet.org is called Inter and was made by Rasmus Andersson. We sourced it from rsms.me on 27 November 2019. It is licensed under a SIL Open Font License.

We claim full copyright protection for all material that we own on this website. That doesn’t mean we’re not into sharing and caring. If you want to use any of the content we have produced, please drop us a line via the contact page.

Odds are, if you’re a ‘small player’ we’ll be happy to let you use the content for free in return for a credit and a link. And if you’re a bit of a big deal, we’ll be happy to work out a price for you. 🙂
